More Living Finnish Blues (Blue North BNCD001)
More Living Finnish Blues -levyllä esiintyy neljätoista suomalaista bluesia soittavaa kokoonpanoa, joista tunnetuimpia ovat: J. Leino and His Blues Guys, Kingston Mines, Pekka Kokkonen Blues Band ja One O'Clock Humph. Lisäksi levyllä kuullaan SAMY r.y:n edellisiltä, jo loppuunmyydyiltä levyiltä lisäkappaleita mm. seuraavilta artisteilta: Chicago Overcoat (Pepe Ahlqvist), Hojas, Hot Shots, Tortilla Flat ja Honey B. & The T-Bones (ensi levytys).
To promote professional and amateur blues musicians and to inform the blues lovers in Finland and all over the world, BN (and the Finnish Blues Society) released a CD: More Living Blues (BNCD 001). There are fourteen Finnish groups of various line-ups and instrumentation on this CD. The most renowned, here in Finland at least, are J. Leino and His Blues Guys, Kingston Mines, Pekka Kokkonen Blues Band and One O'clock Humph. Moreover, the CD contains some bonus tracks taken from the earlier (sold out) releases by the Finnish Blues Society. The bonus tracks include performances by such groups as Chicago Overcoat (Pepe Ahlqvist), Hojas, Hot Shots, Tortilla Flat and Honey B. & The T-Bones. |
